Vancouver, Canada

My Pan-American trip started in Vancouver, BC Canada as I flew in from Japan. It is not still not the beginning of my motorcycle tour, which only begins as I purchase a motorcycle in San Francisco. Until then, it was a backpacking tour and I can do a lot of touristy things without worrying about safety of my motorcycle.

So at least for this post, there is no motorcycle topic or photos of/on a motorcycle.

Vancouver, BC is one of many places I never had visited before. So I thought I would be great to start my trip from here and make my way down on the pacific coast by Greyhounds and Amtrak I never used and get the tastes of backpacking trip.

So I landed in Vancouver International Airport and soon I was led to a separate room for thorough inspection of my luggage and whole bunch of questions for the reason of my vacation being too long!! (Leaving a lot of details) I spent good 2 hours with Canadian immigration officer with him going over my smartphone, emails, and so on without my consent. Long story short, finally, I was out of the airport!

Some places I visited in Vancouver BC:

The view from the Saucer

Gastown
Gassy Jack Statue

the steam clock

Capilano Suspension Bridge
